Hi everyone!

my dealer just emailed my vin # they said i should have it by the end of the month. Anyone else in this situation?

 

Still waiting started production on wednesday, but still nothing.

 

yea i had my vin since last wednesday but still waiting for the car. im pretty close to calling it quits cause i was offered a really good deal on a 08 wrx premium package. i want the ss/tc but im tired of the miscommunication between GM and their dealers

 

True. But i think you will be happy if you wait.

 

I just checked the other cobalt ss that we ordered and it is on an event code 4B00 which means it is moving around in the rail yard, so they are on the move, we have been waiting over 2 months, what is another week or two, really!!

 

they told me late this summer here in jersey....but that gives me good time to save some money to put down on it....

 

When was your build date?

I gotta wonder what the point was of GM offering a 2008 . You can order a 2009 next month and people still dont have their 08's

Good luck on getting your cars guys . Same thing happened in 05 , the SC's kept getting delayed and delayed ....I didnt get mine until June 05 and it should been their in March .

 

Seriously? Honestly things NEVER happen when they should and things usually take longer then they say they are going to happen. Just relax and wait for the car.

 

Just got my VIN today, though it is in event code 4B00 which means it is stuck at the lordstown ohio plant just like all the other cobalt ss turbos

 

When did you order it and what was your build date Rudeone???

i am still waiting patiently but i refuse to drive a POS for much longer. the last thing you wanna do is leave all you hope in a dealer and a so far fairy tale car. i want to leave myself with options in case this whole ss/tc thing turns for the worse somehow. i agree this car is worth waiting for but you have to draw a line somewhere.

 

It looks like the other car my dealership ordered is on the move through the rail yards, so i think everyones vehicles will be at the dealers soon.

 

I just realized that the only difference between the cars we ordered is the spoiler. I ordered the hi rise spoiler

 

Nice, i wanted a low profile, to many people see a high spoiler and they want to race, i work at a dealership and if i get a ticket there goes my job so yeah

 

My dealerships is giving me Vin either tomorrow or tuesday

I see we're already getting the members that are going to own the TC's thinking they are better than everybody else...too bad they will be stuck at 260 until tuning comes out for them
