Just got back from Byers Chevy. Ordered an 09 SS/TC White Coupe with Ebony/Red interior. Options are sunroof, LSD, high-rise spoiler, reconfigurable performance display , radio w/ USB, and spare tire (I think that's pretty much all the options).

I can't wait for it to get here. I will have to wait a while, though, because Chevy has placed a hold on builds with the RPD (dealer says Chevy probably ran out of screens...who knows?), but it's worth the wait to me. Chevy's saying 60 days. As of now, mods will include tint, and I'm researching a good tuning solution.

Currently driving an 07 Civic Si Black Coupe w/ Navi. I love my Si, but there's no replacement for a nice torquey motor - and turbo of course! I am really looking forward to having some torque. I'm also looking forward to meeting everyone on the forum. I'm VolkSi on 8thCivic.com, but that's going away. (BTW, I always get this question, my last name is Volk, I do not have Volk wheels, and, no, they will not give me any discounts...bastards!)

just traded in an FG2 myself a few weeks ago for an SS/TC. I was sad for a couple days.. until I took delivery.

So the red interior is available with summit white? Cause I know there was some confusion about that.

Yeah I know what the black/red looks like, but the pic of the summit white one in that thread was a show car at the Lordstown plant itself. But it looks like it is available anyway.

Kind of an weird combo of colors. Red / black interior, white exterior, silver wheels. I guess it wouldn't clash TOO bad, if you powdercoated the rims black...

Kudos on waiting for what you want. You'd feel pretty crunchy spending ~23k on something that isn't exactly your preference.

No problem man... enjoy the car when it gets to ya. It's relatively unique, not sure how much you know about Cobalts thus far but there are no white supercharged Cobalts... so the only other people with white Cobalts with the full SS kit are other '09 turbo owners or any SC owners who painted their cars (haven't heard of anyone who has done that) or any 06-08 2.4 SS owners who added the SS lips (very few have done that either).

lol i just realized u went from black to white, good choice, still not easy to keep clean but 1000x easier than black

 

That was 1 of the main reasons I switched to white. Black is pure sex when it's clean, but it's only clean for 15 minutes, and that gets annoying fast!

 

We have had a lot of si -> ss/tc converts. Again, just letting you know I was ****** with you. Welcome, and I'm slightly jealous. white looks sick.

Every Si I see is either black, white or grey. Kinda boring, but those are the best looking colours IMO.

Not too many white ones around our area, but yes, a lot of black ones. Blue was the other popular color.

 

i've seen a few of the sedan Si's in the dark blue, it looks pretty sharp, but ya majority is black/white/grey(silver)
