Looks good, something Ive wanted to do forever but have been too lazy too.

I went to buy the paint once and there was 2 different types (vinyl, rubber?) of pastic-dip, I freaked out and left the store. Odd time to have an anxiety attack. lmao

Looks great, been debating to do it on my car cause its black as well. You think we can get a full pic of the car. I'm thinking to go with white calipers and black brembo stickers with black rims...

When i did mine i masked the first one and it was way to much work for what i thought was no reason so i didn't mask the other 3.

Depends on if the car wash has high pressure sprayers for the rims or not

I helped interviewatruins do this to his car and was skeptical at first. I gotta say that it looked pretty damn good after it was done. I'm not in the "black-rim" or "murdered out" generation, so I'll never do it to my own car, but it does look better than a scratched-up wheel.

Those rims actually look really awesome. I didnt think black rims on a black car would look good. I have the same appearance...like the black ss with untinted tails and the chrome headlights. And this may be enough to convince me to plastidip my rims. How did you do the center cap bowties? Is that plastidip aswell?

The bowties on the center caps, First id spayed the rims and just over sprayed the center caps, when it was dry i pealed it off the center caps, then taped around the bowties, quickly sprayed about 3 coats, and while it was still wet pealed off the tape. Easy as can be.
