I've found these Konis "race" which are different from the Konis yellow. Do you guys know of them?

No springs, no spring mounts, figure out own strut solution, unstreetable.

But they are just struts like the yellow ones, and we just have to match them with springs i.e. eibach or they are supposed to be coils?

They are struts. Waste of money unless you want to build your own coil over hardcore autox suspension set up.

Ok so they are not for regular springs, I would have to buy the springs that are made for coilovers i.e. Stance, BC, Ksport or companies like that.
I intend to autox the car, but if they are not as good as other setups, then I'll forget about them. I remember seeing the whole Koni coilover kit for our car on Koni's website, but they are not listed anymore

If you can't weld or source your own sleeves and determine you own linear spring rates, this is not an option.

Got it. All those money and I have to figure out myself what stuff I need to use on those coils..... Then it's just better to get the Koni yellows and match them with good springs. If I ever get rid of my Pedders coils, I'm getting Koni yellows and match them with Sportlines. Much simpler and I still would have a great handling

My all life, between both here and in my country in Italy, I always had eibach matched with Konis (other that the Dodge Charger on which I had eibach for both struts and springs) and they were always the best setup

Eibachs only make decent linear springs. Their street springs are consistently bad, including on this car. YYZ springs, plus XXX bar is as good of a setup as you are gonna get on a street able Cobalt.

my eibachs were 4 years old, and they were a little rusty. other member son here have had the Sportlines fail on them. that was enough for me to pull them off my car.
