At Last......HydroTurboss and his Carbon Fibre RPD Revealed!!
Hey Ya'll

Its Hydro here and I just wanted to give a little bit of an update on the RPD situation......

I bought my car in Feb of 2010 and from day one when I found out it didnt have an RPD I went searching for one.......not easy........well two weeks ago I FINALLY got an RPD and knew right away that I needed to JAZZ up my RPD

So.......I bought some 3M Di Noc Carbon Fibre Vinyl, and here is my creation and contribution to the RPD......


TAHHHHHH DAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!























Now I just gotta wire this thing and a boost gauge in.......this could get messy!!

It's dark out when I took the pics 20mins ago and the bathroom had the best lighting......using flash ruined the shots

the material is great looking - a buddy of mine is a vinyl installer, and showed me that stuff when they got some in a while back...

all jesting aside - did you remove the RPD from the pillar to fully wrap?

hopefully your seams are hidden.

i had to remove it from the pillar and take the RPD apart.......way to difficult to do in one piece. My girlfriend is wicked at wrapping gifts so she showed me where to make cuts and how to hide lines and seams.

the backside was difficult but the front was easy as hell

ya......the living room has terrible lighting in it, you can see the two bad shots that i posted were both in the living room so I went into the bathroom for better light.

I should have taken my shirt of and gelled my hair......then it would have defiantly been a myspace bathroom pic
