You should see "competive driving" or something on the DIC after pushing the traction button twice. That will enable the no-lift and launch control

if you press it once it just turns off traction control. pushing it twice at a stop will turn on launch control, your dic should read "competitive mode launch control". then competive mode is turned on and you can use the no lift shift feature. if you are driving and havent started with the launch control just push it twice and see competive mode on the dic and then you can use the no lift shift feature that way

ok so in conclusion.

press traction control button once = turns off traction control

press traction control twice at a stop = turns on competitive mode and launch control/no lift shift. dic should read "competitive mode/launch control"

press traction control twice while driving = allows you to use no lift shift and dic should read "competitive mode"

no, it will just say "competitive mode" on the dic for a second

I don't have mine yet but can't you also hold the button for 5 seconds to turn off most traction systems? I'm just going by what I remember from a video.

If you hold it for 5 sec, it turns off ESC and TCS, lets you go without computer assistance. Not really a good idea, 99% of people will be faster with stability control on. Just use competitive mode. Bob Bondurant said, when he drove the new Z06's, that it was the best ESC program he had ever used when in competitive mode, that there really was no reason to turn it off. It lets you go just about as far as possible while still staying in control. Turning it off would really only be useful if you wanted to drive stupid and not have the computer try and stop you.
