yes. read your owners manual
press the button to the right of your steering wheel twice. you may have to hold it a bit. it will say competitive mode on your DIC.
push in clutch, push gas, let go of clutch.
i don't recommend using though. it sucks.

Yes all LNF's have Launch control/competitive mode.
Hit your Traction button(right side of steering wheel) twice. It'll put you into beast mode(comp/launch control). Be aware that you're now a little more free from the nanny but not 100% free, the nanny is always waiting to help keep you on the road. If you hold the same button for 5 seconds it'll further turn off the ESC(still always there)
With launch control enabled and at a dead stop hold your gas pedal right to the floor with the clutch in and only slowly release the clutch while staying WOT. It's a pretty consistent take off.

The only thing its good for is smokey burnoits on the street and wheel hop at the track
If i remember right someone logged stock launch control and all it did was hold throttle around 40% until it got close to redline
Now if you have trifucta and have an adjustable lc that is cool but then you have a trifecta tune so good luck with that

Working with 09cobaltSS1 on my tune and for the 1st time ever I got the car to hook using it. 235 Yokohama advan neovaR's worked great. I had given up on it a long time ago but john is working his magic on the car. Wanted to take some out of low speed to try and plant it. Having a Powell suspension and mounts also help tremendously.

So is he just basically detuning first gear so it hooks using lc???

Colodude- I usually only use nls 1-2 if at all because of stock psi in 1st, and only at the track. If I had your setup I wouldn't even think about it. I usually only come off the line about 2,200 or so as I could run into traction issues much above that.

Got a shop that sells imitations of Greddy & HKS BOV for $55. They say it's safe but def not risking it. I found a turbo smart BOV kit for $177 but for that price I rather just get myself a downpipe. It sucks that these cars don't come with them stock :/
