Launch Control on GTR w respect to Cobalt

So, the NISSAN GTR factory warranty is voided if you use the launch control.

Is this the same as the Cobalt Turbo?

do anyone have any actual proof of the gtr warranty being voided? Not to mention it would be illegal to void the whole warranty.

nissan says in their warranty book to NOT turn off VDC(vehicle dynamic control) at any time unless you are rocking the car back and forth in mud or snow if you are stuck, warranty void if you do. you have to turn off VDC to put the car in launch control so they go hand in hand. plus the car has a "black box" just like an airplane which records exactly how you drove to cause the vehicle to fail. in the end...

NISSAN=FAIL

I am a nissan gtr tech. and I would have to say in was bad on nissans part to even put a launch control on the car if the trans can't take it. they are breaking teeth off of first gear. your warrenty WILL NOT be voided if you use launch control. now if you use it and blow the trans up yes but if you use it and have a intake leak then no. the black box is there to make the cust liable for their actions. which makes senses. the black box has its ups and downs. **** that... one thing leads to another... before we know it we will be randomly pulled over and police will scan this black box and ticket accordingly that way...

thats understandable. If i break my car, I will pay to fix it. I hate the random wildfire gossip saying...omg u gtr warranty is void if u launch it...cobalt>gtr!!!oneone!!!one.

also, I know is japan, they remove the limiter if you go to the track and your warranty is still intact. I'm sure if something breaks, you would hav eto fight it though. pay to play KIDS.

The GT-R was overated from day one. It is not a difficult feat to make an AWD car run 11's with a hard launch and some decent power. Subaru's and Evo's have been doing it for years.

I am not surprised that these transmissions are breaking because its an incredible amount of power that gets absorbed with any AWD tranny on a hard launch.

Seems very sleasy of Nissan that they would void a warranty for using launch control though. Thats a meaningless 0-60 performance figure if you cant even use the function that allows for it.

The GT-R is potentially a lot of car for the money, but if it is going to break down and not be covered by the factory warranty for using the stock features, it will quickly be considered a rip off.

you do realize that the GTR is the only street legal car that can stick to turns going upwards of over 100 MPH?

Looks like a ZR-1 taking a tight turn faster than a GTR.

You fanboi's need to quit making false stories about this car.... what next?

Do you realize that owning a GTR makes your pee-pee bigger? ZOMG!!!!111!!!

isnt that the main reason why lambos cant take off on full throttle cause of there all wheel drive i heard it every time they test drove a lambo they ease out of 1st then they floor it lol

its like putting a v12 in our cars and keeping our same trans and not being able to launch on it lol
