Gotcha. Sweet. Definitely will look into that and talk to him about it ! Thanks. Also. Along with the thread. What mods can you definitely add without NEEDING a tune. I get all mods will be better with one. The intake is kinda iffy from what I can tell. Can a downpipe be added ? What about injen charge pipes.

I would just get dp and intake and get tuned with that. You can get chargepipes and you won't need a tune

A tune will add the most power and then add the parts from there

Gotcha. And since you said you do the retunes. It makes it convenient to buy parts after the fact and have it re-tuned. ty

I am tuned by KMO43 also. Great guy and even a better tuner. Trims are so pretty I just like to stare at them lol

My only mods are a catless downpipe and charge pipes at this point. Very pleased with the results.

You'd have to ask Kevin what he thinks. I'm not too familiar. The car pushes 22.5 psi but I'm only on 91 so you can't really add a whole hell of a lot of timing. I would guess I'm approaching 280 or so. I had an LSJ before my sedan that was tuned on E and put down 279.5 on a Dynojet but my sedan feels much faster. So I could be way off lol

I will also recommend KMO43. I've been tuned by Trifecta, ZZP, and two other reputable tuners on here with hpt. I thought my **** was tight until I got a little sample of what KMO43 could do. He made me fall back in love with my car all over again. What else can I say? He's the fastest tuner I've ever worked with, great support and service, and yes, he IS pushy. He's ALWAYS bugging me to get him more logs!!! That dude doesn't rest I tell ya. He lives and breathes these LNF motors and that's exactly the type of guy you want messing with your car.

Now for modding your car, I had a Dejon CAI and MPX catless downpipe whole exhaust system including a resonator and I ran that for a whole month with no issues or codes! I even raced a buddy of mine once just to see if it would throw a code or something. Nope. No codes, no limp mode, no problems. Then when I got my upgraded intercooler with the chargepipes I finally bit the bullet and got tuned. It all boils down to what you want from your car. If you're only looking for 300 whp then just those bolt-ons and a tune will get you there. Buy and install all your bolt-ons first then just tune once and be done with it. Or at least that was the approach I took. It will keep you happy for a while.

It's a good pushy though. He does multiple logs to double check everything and make sure that all the trims are in place and he makes sure that your 60-100 time is faster than before that's for sure lol
