lsj lnf same engine???
thats what i thought i just wanted to be sure some guy with a redline is trying to argue with some guy saying that they are diff engines and have diff displacement its kinda funny
the rods, and crank are the same. the pistons are different. the block is the same.
the head, i believe started life as an lsj head and was modded for the direct injection.

I am pretty sure I read in a GM book of some sort that the LNF had different rods. At least the casting was different.
Things the LNF has that the LSJ doesn't...
LNF = Direct Injection (as in the Fuel injector sprays directly into the combustion chamber)
LNF = VVT
LNF = Lower Compression (possibly Forged) Pistons
The block, crank, and rods might be the same... that'd be the only major/minor components that are the same.
Damn... Area beat me to it.

Haha... its not that simple.
crank is the same, rod bearings are different material, **** Ijust had that up on my computer too head is almost the same casting, but direct injection, domed pistons, and of course the VVT...
