pretty cool until you read the idiot comments at the bottom. people suck. i bought this car over a civic si for a reason. its american and it out performed. while the interior is cheap i can live past that. its not the interior that puts a smile on my face. its the acceleration and g's in the turns.

i love my cobalt. i put no money down! Fully loaded! for a little over 400 a month! and i only finaced it 5 years. i got alot of car for my money and im very happy! And i got the biggest warrenty package! I like my interior i dont think its that bad. However, its not the best. I just like driving faster than the guy next to me. And i feel like this car has a TON of building room. I think it has nice wheels and its slick lookin if you ask me!

I wish I hadnt read the comments... Its amazing how many people still fall for the idea that so-called foreign is more reliable. Toyota has been decling over the last few years. So has Honda. Hyundai and Kia have been coming up, but still have a lot of models rated sub-par. Chrystler is the worst.
Chevy has had the most fuel efficient cars on the market for a while now. No one has been paying attention. Their reliability ratings have been on an upward trend for quite a while now. No one noticed. The only place they are still getting stung is the interior and build fit and finish. Which it seems people care more about than a car that runs well.
The comment from the guy that obviously has never sat in a Cobat annoyed me to the point of almost signing up just to post a rebuttal. He stated he was only 6' tall and could not fit in the car at all. I am 6'5" and on the upper side of 360 lbs... and I am very comfortable in my 'balt. He was so full of ****...

I also have a shaved head and full beard. You should have seen the look on the other guys face yesterday when I got out of the car with my arms spread out yelling "You got a problem man?"... Ive never seen a minivan run away that fast. I bet he never expected someone my size to get out of a lowered cobalt rofl.

Agreed. One of my co-workers drives a brand new Honda Accord. Cheap plastic on the dash, and you almost had to yell to be heard over the wind noise... My car is much quieter than his inside.

These people with this whole "foreign cars are superior" mentality need to be shot. They are comparing new cars to their old GM vehicles they owned back in the 80's and 90's.

lol why do they keep talking about putting upwards of 100,000kms on theyre cars lol i put like 30,000 on mine in a year and ive parked it for this winter lol. Ive got a 93 GMC Sierra with 200 000kms on it my gfs got a cavy with 170 000kms on it and my parents drive a Montana with just over 100 000kms on it and the only thing we pay for are oil changes all of which are GMs. And as far as ppl not caring about 0-60, theyve obviosly never been to the track, out on the weekend, or on this site! Its too bad that ppl still think of the cobalt as the new cavalier and so immediatly pay no mind to it, but i sure do love blowing the doors off those imports with my fancy new cavalier.

That is the correct attitude to have Silversides.
Its people who know zilch about cars that make negative comments.
Example: Friend was looking to buy a small car with good mpg's..
No gear heads, mechanics or automotive 'experts' in this group..
People in the conversation pipe up with their recomendations..
I offer the Cobalt as an option.......HOLY HELL..
You would have thought I whipped my pecker out in front of the pope..
"Well my Aunt Sue has a cobalt and it was a piece of ****.."
"What was the matter with it?" I ask?
"It um....she had to um...well all I know is that it was in the dealership getting repaired for the...um....well it was gettin g repaired alot."
"Did it get fixed by the dealer?"I ask.
"well yes, she's still driving it."
WELL DUH! I don't listen to people anymore...lol.
People are going to voice their opinion , even if its based off non-factual garbage.

lol i wanna join!!! 6foot1 and 250lbs, I am very comfortable in my SS/TC, wouldn't mind a LITTLE more head room but meh I'll be just fine without it. Otherwise, i have lots of leg room and shoulder room which is a far cry from my last car.
