Moding a tc for 1200?

after christmas i am going to have probably 1200 to spend on ss/tc. i want to keep it under warrenty so i was thinking of putting in the stage kit for it when it comes out and a cai when they are out. My question is what will give the most power for my tc for the amount of money i have to spend and keep it under warrenty. Im new to the moding world so i need some help.

gotta chose one, mod or keep warranty.

if ur really going to mod then you shouldnt be worried about ur warranty any way.

Example i always give. you throw on GMPP exhaust and cold air intake, then ur clutch goes. you bring it back to the dealer and say ur clucth went. all they have to do is say, well the clutch is set for 260 horsepower and ur car is putting out 280 with ur mods thats why it went. so the warranty isnt going to cover it.

I'd just mod it and not worry about warranty, because I didnt even mod mine at all before I took it in for a broken intercooler, and they made up excuses for why it was my fault and not theirs, so they didnt fix it. They tried to charge me 700 for them to put a new stock IC in so i said eff that and just bought a hahn and im gonna do it myself.

If i had an extra 1200 now I'd probably look into a CAI when they are available and maybe charge piping and or intercooler. Some other mods I wanna make are lower my car and get my rims powder-coated black, along with a bunch of other little appearance mods.

without worring about your warranty
1) cut off muffler and weld a pipe in
2) intercooler piping
3) CAI (whne available)
4) Tune

with warranty
1) GMPP stage 1 when available
2) cut muffler and weld pipe

ya the hahn ic is really nice. it makes it tough to decide whether to mod it up or to stick with the warrenty

The way I see it is that i bought the car for the car not for the warranty. Just don't be dumb about driving it like an idiot and always have mods done by yourself if you are capable or a trained technician that knows what they are doing
