moving the RPD

has anyone had any success in moving the rpd to a different location in the car and if so where did you move it? im thinking of moving it to the vent thats right below it... not like that vent blows out much air anyways..

It is extending some wires and putting it where YOU want.

one thing to possiby worry about is extending/shortening wires. ive seen a lot of talk about doing wire tucks in the engine bay and extending/shortening wires seems to mess with signal transfer, so keep that in mind. where would you want to move it to? i'd keep it somewhere close to the original place so you don't have to cut wires

If you can get it to fit in that vent you shouldn't have to extend any wires actually... find a way to completely block the vent though...

Mine puts out hell fire in the winter I swear

You won't have any issues extending the wires for the RPD, put the damn thing in your trunk if you want.

Long extended wires on the Rpf will be fine... My car doesn't originally come with one and I ran my wires to the one2 to make it work.

You can extend wires for s tuck a decent length if you use the proper gauge don't extend the wires 10 feet and don't have 100 spliced in the same wires. Most guys here won't use the good stuff and will use crap wiring .
