I have a catless 3" dp, 3" MPX with res and no muf. I love the sound while normal driving, and the snap crackle pops. But when I go WOT it's stupid loud and gets raspy which sucks.

when i first got rid of it the welder i was using was being a pain so it wasn't completely centered... shot crap all over my bumper... got worse when i added the ZZP catless... but its all been fixed now its centered and out just enough to keep the junk off the bumper but not out to far to look stupid

I want to get a muffler delete but not sure exactly how to do it...I mean I get the "remove le muffler" part but I feel like taking a saw to it is the wrong way to go

I took a pipe cutter... Hah cut it off, then the tip off the muffler housing added some 2.5in piping and win...

It worked because I used an Audi exhaust clamp to the exhaust and the tip just slid over the pipe and I welded it on...

Just go to an exhaust shop and tell them you want your muffler cut off and a piece of straight pipe welded in it's place.

I was wondering if there is a sound difference between the stock catback with muffler delete vs the mpx 3 inch catback with muffler delete section.. with a catless downpipe.. Both will snap crackle pop the same ?

The aftermarket cat back would probably crack and pop more. Someone has a video of it some where on here.

On youtube videos, they sounds almost the same but in real life Im sure they don't! Just don't want to spend 600$ on an afermarket exhaust that sound the same as a muffler delete! :P

An aftermarket 3" exhaust does not sound like a muffler delete. The tone is deeper.
