Got word it was in. Then got word I cannot get my finances together till tomorrow morning. I still went and checked it out. Test drove it on an airport service road behind the dealership for a quick minute.

My first time ever touching a manual. Stalled it 4 times in a row getting out in reverse. After I backed out. Didn't stall it again. Casually took it through the first 3 gears.. gave it just a lil boost.

And no.. I was about to take pics for everyone.. but all I had ( was at work when I got word it was in) was a crappy 3 megapixel camera on my cell phone. I figured it could wait till tomorrow till I can borrow a good digi cam from a friend or something. I am excited.. going to be up all night thinking about tomorrow morning!

The best.... Yellow.. high rise spoiler... sunroof.. LSD... usb radio... RPD.....bluetooth was sweet.. connected my HTC phone to it. didn't use any functions however.. just connected really quick... I had like 15 minutes to learn how to drive a stick and take it out back to fool around a bit. so I didn't really mess around with even the RPD to much.

Yellow looked sweet... but the car really was just off the truck for 15 minutes before I got there. So it was still marked up a bit.. dirty as ****.... they had to detail it.

Funny bit.. I tell my dealer lady jokingly.. but not really... "Make sure you put Premium Gas in it" and I smile. She says "Oh really? I didn't know you had to..?" she looks at the gas tank cover... I was like

I hope she remembered lol

But anyways.. my family doesn't really take many pictures.. so between the three of us.. there isn't a decent digi cam * doh*.. so Iunno how I am going to get some sweet pix.. might have to ask around to borrow the car.. maybe do a few favors

The first thing my father said when he seen it with me was "Woah.. look that those brakes" Brembos FTW

Im not going to be selling it anytime soon.. hell.. im picking it up tomrorow! I can tell just from putting around in it for 10 minutes... it is going to be a fun ass car.

Congrats, and the first time I ever test drove the LSJ I didn't know about the lift thing for reverse and neither did the dealer....we both looked like asses.

Its all preference.. I think Yellow on this car with the high rise looks awesome. I never would have thought I would get a yellow car.. but its just teh secks IMO.

 

I just brought mine home today. She had 4 miles on the OD.

It sure is hard to keep your foot off the gas when you hear that turbo start to spool up!

 

I didn't even stall my first time driving stick! Bucked like crazy though one of the city's busiest intersections but I made it back to the dealer in one piece.

 

man i really really like that dark red, almost makes me wish i had ordered the dark red, it's so sexy and sleek.

My dad came along to test drive the SS/TC with me and we both looked like morons for 5 minutes with that... All I'd ever seen was push down for reverse style manuals

 

Get ready for some police attention with yellow and the hi-rise. Silver or red tintcoat FTW, IMHO.

PS- First thoughts- WOW! This car is soooo fun to drive.. everything I expected and more. The RPD unit is just geeked out!. The bluetooth was soooo easy to pair and use with my AT&T Tilt (HTC 8550 I believe). The calls sound very very clear. Overall.. Im very happy with the car.

Please don't flame... I wasn't even going to take pix till I had a good cam and lighting. These were taken at like 2 PM with the blazing sun beaming down on us.. I will have better ones.

Also.. Take a look at the picture of my gas pedal. Is it supposed to be a plastic type material? I thought they came with metal sport plates over it ?

Total noob question but i have a bluetooth phone, Motorola Q. Can i pair that up to the head unit so when people call i dont have to pull over?? or put on my bluetooth headset????

 

it will pair fine. 4 digit passcode in ur owners manual. ur phone will ask for it when u go to search for new bluetooth devices. my phone now auto connects to it every time. no headset needed dude... that defeats the purpose of the car havin it. there is a microphone in car. u hear through speakers. phone button on steering wheel.

the yellow and high rise look great. its a head turner. have had multiple peeps stop and ask me about it.

those pics u all se above....well we were sitting on my friends porch where those were taken...some kid drove by in a white beetle and stalled looking at it.

i dont care what anyone thinks i think it is sooooo beautiful.
