thanks, quick question... the fan stays on some times, i'm assuming because the coolant is to high. what's normal? i ran almost 5 minutes before i walked out and turned the car back on and let it sit a sec i wanted the coolant temp go from 232 down to 210 before it cut off then it went down to 200 n i shut the car back off... is the coolant temp supposed to be that high? is that bad? is something wrong? it was prolly like 250 before i walked back out to turn it back on
i'm not gettin anywhere close to 0-60 in 5.5 seconds either... more like 8 to 9... but i'm not spinning my tires either... just riding the clutch sum lol.. (okay maybe a lot, but only in first )

.. after driving it.. like stoping and doing a 0-60 pull 3 or 4 times... and the first time i took it to 100... but yes... i was inside for a few minutes and stuck my head back out of the door and i could hear it still running... so when i turned it on and went to the coolant temp it said 232 and went down a degree or two at a time to 210 then the fan shut off

Idk i didn't think to look at it... maybe it wasn't a few minutes but the car was def off and the fan was still running... i did the pulls back to back... but the fan came on yesterday and i wasn't running it hard at all and it didn't turn off till i got in it and started it. (which was only like 30 seconds after i shut it off)
no i don't have the RPD but i have a dashdaq on order..

oh ok.. so that's normal though for it to do that? i drove it down my street normally... but it may have only been 20 or 30 seconds lol... i'll know now tho next time... what's a high coolant temp? or the highest you guys have seen yours?
hmm... lol... but was you mashin it? or just casual driving...
makes me think something is wrong but lord knows how high it was before i turned the car off...
i gotta start checkin it after i do stuff like that... don' wanna mess my baby up

The way I look at it when you turn the car off right away after hard runs the coolant is just cooking and getting hot
no my truck is turbo charged but it never got that high... and yes the car had 18 miles on it when i got it... well after i was done driving it it had like 50 lol.
well it's not my first car but it's my first turbo'd car...

I know some of you don't care about things like this, but I was brought up by an old-timer gearhead so I've gotta say.... you might wanna look into the proper methods of breaking in a new car for next time.
