My Cobalt SS Saved My Life Today

Hey Everyone -

I just was released from the hospital today from a head-on collison involving my black beauty 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS 4-door sedan. I was driving to class today minding my own business when I woman driving a Saturn makes a left turn without looking. I hit her straight on and my is smashed. My air bag is deployed and my car is leaking fluids and gas and somehow the rear of my car catches on fire....I cannot move and then Onstar comes on the line asking me if I am okay...I saw I need help and medical treatment...He connects me right away with help. Despite minor injuries I walk away with minor bruises and burns...I am very, very lucky and believe my car saved my life...

I will post pictures later once I feel a little better, but I have them on my phone. The car is something else and I pray nobody ever gets into an accident, but if you do and have an accident similar like mine then I pray your car will do what the Cobalt did for me today.

Glad you're ok. Are you paying for ONSTAR currently? Reason I ask..wonder if they will contact you in emergency if you're NOT paying for service.

no they won't ... that's why they send you 15,000,000 warning letters in the mail about your subsciption expiring... noone would pay for onstar if it still worked

They're not a public service. Your tax dollars don't go to Onstar.

Is it totaled? I don't really care about you. The Turbo SS is a rare, and dying breed.

I hope this is a joke, if not you need to go play in traffic. And the turbo cobalt is not a "rare" car.

it is rare. the 4 door SS was only made in the 2009 model year with barely any units coming out of the factory

i believe the onstart has a small battery or power charge built in so incase the car does lose power in an accident, it is still useable
