I checked the price from the parts dept. $300.00 is my cost per wheel. I also noticed TireRack has a special on Michelin Snow tires for $169.00 each. Maybe it's time to move to Arizona?

Shitty? Forged, split spoke, relatively light... I dunno why all the hate for the turbo rims.

I'm not that vain about my car, but I think the rims look more than decent. The steering response is awesome, and the wheels are really strong but lightweight. I wish people would get over their bling chromey chrome wheels already, that'll probably shatter upon impact with a small twig. Ugh.

x200

They look good, they're fairly light, the tires are decent, good size.

$1700 for stock wheels is a joke to me sorry... i d much rather save a few hundred and get some Axis wheels and better tires... i dont hate the ss/tc wheels .. just hate when ppl act like they have gold and overpirce them. I see almost new stock wheels that goes on the grand touring 350z's that go for less then that and theyre made by "rays"

Yeah they're overpriced without a doubt but I still don't think they're shitty wheels. Anyway. Moving on.

Just remember.....GM sets the prices for parts, not the Dealers. The $300.00 is my cost as an employee. I checked into the price to compare the ones on ebay. Plus I'm going to need to put snow tires on next winter.

You got a deal because when I bent mine they wanted 550 per wheel and 250 for the tire lol. I ended up paying 100 to get the wheel fixed and bought last years tires for 150 .

I haven't ordered them yet......List was around $548 something like that? I left the sheet at work. They are not cheap by any means....then add the tires!

Yea what a rip off, I bought rims that no one else had and new tires for $600 less than that. The stock TC rims are nice, but they wouldnt be on my car unless they came with it

Exactly. I love my OEM wheels, but like most OEM parts they're overpriced. If they needed to be replaced, I wouldn't purchase them again when you get get super light-weight OZs for the same price or less.

That being said, there does seem to be some animosity against them... I don't get it, I think they're great looking wheels.

The rims you have I can get for $152.00, while they are nice they are not forged or meant for any track duty what so ever and your rims weigh I believe 24.8lbs vs the the TC rims @ 22lbs. Just like my MSR winter rims they are very nice but the stock TC rims are "greater".
They just dont look as good as yours....

I'm just waiting for summer to put my summer rims on....

The animosity is from jealousy. SS/TC wheels are on a different planet compared to SS/SC wheels. Gets a lot of hatred around here.

Umm, that's taking it to the other extreme. As special as your turbo car is, it's still made by General Motors. Neither your car, nor your wheels, are on a "different planet".

Hahah , The TC wheels look nice .They weigh almost the same as an SS/SC wheel . Another planet thou? Is that where they built the GTO's?

Those guys have a lot of good parts. Apparently, they have a pair of 2009 Cobalt SS's that fell off the trailer from the factory. Two miles on each one. I got the Steering wheel from one and the controls actually work on my XFE.
