If you get a intake system, make sure it is K&N it is known to be one of the best. We sell a couple each day.

^this.. and I'd add a FMIC although it's really not all that necessary unless ur in a hot air area, or plan on going bigger in future. It could help a little otherwise, but not worth the money I don't think. ZZP downpipe is my fav, as is their FMIC. Exhaust, I'd recommend Modern Performance, and as Aaron @ TurboTechRacing said, K&N short ram is quite possibly the best intake for the turbo balts.. I have one and I love it.
If u plan on going over redline and/or high boost, you'll also need ZZP 78 or 82# valve springs, or their head/cam combo, depending on your future goals; otherwise you could end up popping rockers/lifters. Just a word of caution is all. I think some guys have got away with not having this happen, but everyday I see more and more having this occur.

Since they have been released we have sold a ton! They are great, I have one.

I junked my Hahn that did nothing than clunked on my rear beam. Turbo xs fits like a glove! Better price too!

I'm currently on hold on my 09 SS/TC sedan - my current mods are "only" a K&N Typhoon intake and GMS1 tune, and I'm reasonably happy. The GMS1 is scorned - compared to a trifecta or HP, it's positively tame, but here are my thoughts - with the GMS1 you get the wider band MAPs and a tune that, while tame, still kicks ass compared to the stock tune. The K&N gives the car the turbo noise and breathing.

I still think the GMS1 is a decent enough kit for the price, and I like the MAP sensor upgrades for further upgrades - I at least have spare MAPs now!

I suspect improved pipes - a catted downpipe at least - followed by an aftermarket tune are my next moves.

or buy the sensors (cheap as hell on crateenginedepot.com) and do a tune when you install them

^^^ Yea. The most basic bolt on mods are downpipe, intake, and a tune (Trifecta or HPT) These will offer the best performance gain for your buck.

I would have just gone aftermarket on the tune, 'cept for one thing - I was still deep under warranty when I did it, so GMS1 made a hellava lotta sense, and a few bucks well spent. I was still toying with the idea of a trifecta tune hidden under that GMS1, so my 'stock' tune would be better than base, with the more hardcore a button push away. A couple c-notes well spent so far, since I've had fun with the GMS1 and CAI.

Hmmmm. Looking at that tint coat, maybe a set of rims or tint coat yours? The color's great, but the stockers don't do the color justice!
