I’m not sure why someone would want slower turbo spool by venting the air charge into the atmosphere over returning it into the intake. Any insights on this other than just a louder “woosh” noise?

Yup!

To clarify- this comes with the green spring installed and an optional yellow spring

agree'd... if you want a real bov get the right piping...

but this is a nice option for people who don't want to get the right pipes. and wants a cheap quick atmospheric bov
