I agree. I don't think that many people would be willing to shell out the extra cash for a Nav in a car like this. Navigation dosen't get you to 60mph any faster.
Or the only option I want on my 08 , that is available on the 09s is the performance LCD screen instead of the boost guage.
"The Cobalt SS includes a turbo boost gauge on the driver's A pillar. A nice performance touch, but not all that useful, as we tended to watch the road while under acceleration. GM will also offer an onboard performance computer as an option, although it didn't seem to be available at the time of this review. "
its the sedan modle tested i thought but correct me if im wrong that rpd wasnt going to be an option on the sedan?
if thats the case it shows what cnet knows?
they should stick with electronics not cars?
all they cared about was the tech in the car!

it pisses me off when they say the exterior doesnt look good or its an outdated style....personally I think the cobalt looks bad ass. Thats why I wanted one becasue the coupe just looks really unique over all the other cars on the road. Especially with that highrise, and the SS lip kit. The circle lights and rims on the TC. Doesnt get much better than that unless u want to spend 40grand.
And when GM comes out with that stage kit for the TC's, this car will be off the hook.

^ that is true. But handheld GPS's are so common today. You can get a garmin for like 150 bucks, and most decent cell phones today have them. It really isnt a make it or break it on a car. I myself have one on my VOyager and a garmin. Plus theres always maps.
Not necessarily a con if a car doesnt come with nav, should only be used as a plus if it does.
