2 different tires. The nt555 will last much longer, but the nt05 will grip better(not in rain or snow).

I have the NT05s. They grip really well on dry pavement, and they are ok in the rain (but I don't push it in the rain at all so that means nothing to me). I'm GMS1 + bolt ons and they don't slip in second gear. They do get a little greasy when they get really hot, like after a few auto cross runs when its triple digits out I have 4k miles (4 autocross events, and a track day at Road America) on them and they look like they have decent tread left.

I would recommend them. I'll probably end up getting them again myself.

So how many miles do you guys get out of the nt05 and nt555's? And i was looking at those dunlops to but i dont think they were all that great of treadlife. I want the best longest lasting tires. I was thinking like an all season but ill probably just get summer ones and get a set of blizzaks aswell. I was thinking either the nt05, nt555 or the pilot super sport. Those have a treadlife warranty.

^^^this is the link it goes against 9 other brands and comes out on top beat the hankooks, the invos, and the new kuhmos great read up and it was car and driver not motor trend srry:

since it very rarely rains in el paso i think i might be stuck between the dunlops and the kumho's but the V-12's are a bargin though..

The best tires for grip and lasting a pretty long time are the Conti DWS's.
