no extra boost after 1500 miles?!
umm....u sir are wrong....they DO in fact have 2.4 HPT fully capabilities right now. ask around and check the website. they do dude, im just saying when u combine the turbo along with VVT on top of direct injection, its a lot of different variables to deal with. mainly because the cobalts one of few/if at all any that has that setup
I have been having my car custom tuned. There is no way to adjust the VVT yet. Maybe in a future release.
What i was meaning about the Direct Injection is will the Injectors they use Max Out when people start hardcore modding them? Since it seems like a Permanent item and you cant throw in bigger ones like you could do with the SS/SC your pretty much stuck with whatever your fuel system is capable of doing stock, will it max out easily and then your just out of luck? It wont be long before people start swapping out there stock turbos for like T-70s or something and try to crank 30 psi
Yeah but those cars dont limit boost on your environment. Who cares what Atmosphere your at just let it boost 18-20psi regardless of your region, is having more power then rated a bad thing or something, appariently the guys at GM Think so if they limit boost to get exactly 260 and not a single digit over
Not trying to be rude... But how do you know there is no 1500 mile limit?
I don't know if there is one or not... I'm just wondering.
Edit: Because you have an HHR/SS? How much PSI are you getting?

Maybe it's because GM brought the HP/TQ right up to the posted limits of the tranny? Another thought is that GM states it can reach 20 psi of boost .... but maybe thats in altitudes where it will take 20 psi to make 260-263 hp?
this cars getting worse and worse, it has a maxed out tranny stock and the Moddability is Horrendous.
One proven fact is that the fuel system is UnImprovable, so you can only mod up until you need fuel system upgrades then your outta luck and thats all you get

The aftermarket will come once they see enough people pushing 300+, and willing to take a risk at upgrading things.
Im kinda thinking this "break in" boost level is a internet myth . I have yet to see one factual document that says a LNF pcm limits boost for a break in period at xxxxxx miles . If that were the case , if that were the case GM's legal department woulda made damn sure it was spelled out in plain english that your car will not make full power until xxxx miles are driven .
I think what ya got is what get ...could be wrong .
