No Gasket?

The other day I changed out my stock downpipe for an aftermarket zzp catless pipe and while I took the stock pipe off I noticed there was no gasket on the turbo or on the downpipe. I searched the garage making sure it did not fall, but found nothing. Just curious if anyone else has come across this? I was not having any leaks before and cannot tell if I am now. I am not getting any sort of exhaust tick that would be present that close to the engine (unsure if it happens with turbo's as this is my first turbo car but have plenty of experience with modding cars). It is noticeably louder now when I get on it above 3k rpm, I am having a hard time figuring out if its exhaust escaping at that connection or its out the tail pipe.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I am going to order a gasket anyways and put it on when the weather is a little nicer, just sucks I have to drop the pipe again to put the gasket on.

There is a crush metal ring at both connections, it usually stays in there. I've posted the part number & pic in the past.

Ah okay then its probably there was a lip sticking out on the turbo side around the circular opening. I just figured it was a gasket like the one on the downpipe to catback as everyone talks about a gasket so I was just assuming.
