if it doesn't affect you which it doesn't look like it does then why do you care, go back to lsj section, and your attitude is the reason why people don't like others with cobalts.i put this out for people who are interested so if you don't have any thing good to comment on then why bother?

This is not true i just left the dealership with my balt from getting some warrenty work done and was talking to the sales man and went to build a SS/TC and it said the arrival date would June 2, 2008. So there for you have to order them, most dealerships are not keeping them instock unless they start selling.

Yes did you see the date though JUNE 2. they were saying late april early may. They are just out of stock, by that i mean no more orders cause the orders for that time frame have been taken up. That is all i am saying. Though it looks like they are shutting down the lordstown plant on april 4th anyway. They will still ship vehicles, but hopefully they get some out before that. My dealer was able to order mine, then they ordered a flash blue, black on black interior, lsd, sunroof, and 6 disc changer as well, just to let you guys know if you are interested i could let you know when that comes in.

When did you order and when is yours suppose to arrive??? It takes two months for a car to come in that has been ordered. I just left the dealership!!!! As i know i order my cobalt as well and it took two months for it to come in!!!!

The lordstown plant has suppose to been shutting down for like 10 years now( i know i'm orginally from that area and its a big deal if it shuts down)

Hi Pink.

He is talking about a temporary shut down due to a strike at a parts supplier for GM.

Hi Victory!!!

Ahh ic i haven't been home in awhile so i was not aware of a temporary shut down!!!!

Next time he might was to make the clear then saying that they are shutting down the plant, and making it seem like they are shutting it down for good the only thing that saved that plant was the cobalt and G5!!!!

sorry for the miscommunication. only temp until american axle gets off strike or until gm permanently moves the production of axles to mexico so they dont have to worry about people complaining they are only making 30 dollars an hour to make and axle, while we get paid less to fix they mess up at the dealership.
