Oil seepage around Main Vacuum line fitting

Hey, I am noticing that there is a wet mark around the Main Vacuum line fitting on my intake. Its the fitting on the intake all the way to the right... Any idea why it might be doing that? I do not think it should be doing that, as there shouldnt be any kind of oil getting into the intake..

anyone else's LNF do this?

oil/blowby from the pcv get vented into the intake, not sure why the line is leaking, that is if your talking about the braided steel line on the intake. if not then ignore me

Mine has that too, dont know why but im not too worried.. You cant sweat the small stuff with these cars.. And its alot less oil than u think.. Oil spreads a lot. And have you ever taken a look at an old pcv valve.. Itll be covered in carbonand oil

Never seen that. I'd get a catch can, that will gunk up ur valves petty quick if ur seeing it coming out there already

That or u spilled a few drops when u did oil change

My car sat for a year when I deployed over seas... Its not that much, definitely did not spill in that area during an oil change, that just makes me think that there is a lot of oil getting into the intake.. I wonder if that is because of a bad PCV valve.. i will have to take a look.

If OP is talking about the brake-booster line, I have it, too.

So how do we go about replacing this? I have a feeling that's why there's trace oil residue near that area

I haven't messed with it. It's just oil reside in the intake. It will just keep coming back unless you buy one of those Powell oil catch-cans.
