Thumbs up okay cobalt ss tc or camaro

i really have a big question, and am confuse a lot , I love camaro and the new is my first choice and i want it no matter what. but I have been driving my wifes cobalt lt and i felt that car so so so good and so powerful for it is weight that i am impress, now the camaro is caming with v6 300 and i was thinking if i change the intercooler the plastic intakes and replace them with aluminium and put a cat back and tune the car with a little more boost am completely sure that i will get at least 350 at the crank. and it will be a lot cheaper and i will be saving gas too since it is a inline 4. so what did you guys think camaro or cobalt Turbo ??? i am very confuse camaro is good loking but for the same price i think i can built something more faster is not about building is about u know buying things for your car playing with it ...

i have been looking and there's a few md that can be done like the cat back ok
those anyone know how much do you need to make your cobalt a 300Hp just 300???

I just couldn't drive a Camaro with a V6. But if you can live with having a V6 Camaro then the Camaro is better then the Cobalt. RWD is always better then FWD unless you are in the snow. Also, the Camaro will more then likely cost more the the SS/TC too so think about how much you want to spend.

In dreamland maybe. But in reality, Cobalt > Camaro. Why? Put fuel in your car lately?

Also, if you live in a northern state and are broke like me (in in VA but we still get snow every year), having a RWD daily driver just isn't an option. Overall, I say the SS/TC is a much more sensible choice b/c its plenty fast, looks sexy as hell, and can be driven on a daily basis no matter the weather, and is MUCH easier on the pocket.

But hell, if your rich and can afford multiple cars and just want a "toy" car, then of course the Camaro is the better choice.

I believe that the V6 Camaro is slower than a Cobalt SS/TC. It weighs 3700lbs and has 300hp. It is quite a bit slower than a 300hp Mustang GT. I believe Chevy says that it runs mid 14's in the quarter?

And a Camaro SS just ran the Nurburgring only 2 seconds faster than the Cobalt SS/TC. 8:20 I believe as opposed to 8:22 for the Cobalt. That's the 420hp V8! 4000lb car ... needs a diet!

All of that said, if you gave me the choice of a Camaro SS or Cobalt SS, I know which one I'd choose! Here's a hint: It would have RWD...

good morning guys, firs of all i live in florida am not rich but i can handle the monthly payment for a camaro v6 fully loaded , now cobalt has a lot of power not 300 but close enough now, i am sure that u do two or three thing and u have the cobalt on 300 this is what i was talking about since the begining , and it is very sad having a camaro in florida yellow fulle loaded paying maybe 400 a month and stop on a red light and having one of this stuped guys in a cobalt beating my ass cam on that's sad and i know that a cobalt will beAT A CAMARO NO MATTER IF IT IS FWD OR RWD you will burn tires in either one and problable have fun more in fwd than a rwd in florida.... for me i race but not that much i just don't like people in hondas and this car that sound horrible close to me those are the people that i race ricer like u guys said daily drive i just have fun with my girl so

what did you guys think ???

Those times will get closer to 8 minutes as it gets ready to go into production. Its out there for tuning now not all out speed.

these is what am talking about 2 seconds faster and u driving a maybe 45k car. now you just put 300hp on a cobalt and a bet you that will be 4 or 5 second faster thats a big difference 420 against 260 45k against 23k and it is only 2 second faster on a track is sad very sad

English please? How old are you OP?

If it was me, I would get the v8 Camaro or no Camaro at all. If it was between a v6 Camaro and Cobalt SS/TC, I would take the Cobalt. Granted the Camaro is gonna have a 300hp v6, its still gonna sound like a v6.

the tc handles better, and is probably faster than the v6 camaro, but the camaro definitely has the 1up in the looks department

Sounds like you want the Cobalt. Go get one and enjoy it. It sounds as if you would be happier with the Cobalt anyway.

I live in michigan and would take the camaro over cobalt any day as a daily driver. RWDs drive alot better in snow than they used to. I had a 2wd work truck and never once got stuck or had a problem with driving in snow.

Agreed that camaro will NOT cost 45k lol, maybe with gouging but the V8 will be around 30k base.

The 3.6L V6 with direct injection is a pretty badass motor.
