i got the same CAI but mine is going to be black. Are you going to install yourself or have it done? I read somewhere that some of the cobalts had to take their wheels off or the bumper to get the CAI in. Is this the same with the 09 ss/tc models? cant wait to get mine.

I believe the issue for installation is the most forward intake tube, its kinda below and just aft of the headlight. It has a rubber like fitting holding it in place, was quite the task for me to remove. It has one of those plastic fittings (as im not aware of the name im going to attempt to describe it) that has a head on it to put a screw driver on each side, lift up the middle and than the fitting can be removed. At the time when i removed it, i was able to get shears in there and cut it.

I'll do it myself, hopefully there's a way around taking all that **** off the car, on my 06 ss/sc injen said you needed to remove the front bumper, when all you needed to do was remove the wheel well shroud.

A lot, $640 for both (shipping to canada)

In regards to the "black" colour, its either the charge piping or CAI hasn't been released in blk yet...

Are you going to use the Worm Drive clamps that come with the pipe or are you going to buy some T-Bolt clamps seperately? If so do you know what size?

To those who are using the worm dive clamps that come with the charge pipes,I am using them and am Trifecta tuned to 25 psi with no problems.Just tighten them real good and after a few miles on them snug them up again.

Hows that CAI working? No CELs? Im curious about the factory MAF/AFRs where the MAF sensor goes. Does that fix the skewed AFR problem? Data log this sucker.

I had problems with my injen CAI... I had it on and off about 4 different times doing testing. The car jerks quite a bit while doing down the road at a constant speed, cause of the MAF tables are off.

Anyone datalog an Injen CAI yet? I'm curious how the MAF cal is compared to stock? My AEM was skewed 10% before a tune.

I'd like one to match the CP I have someday.

Not sure if this just came out in the past week or so, but I ordered black charge piping on 9/20/09 and have it sitting in my living room right now...

I ordered these (top ones):

http://turbohoses.com/Clamp.htm

http://turbohoses.com/Spring-Loaded.gif

I was told by Injen that you need (4) 2.5" clamps and (2) 2" clamps. I went ahead and got (2) 2.25" clamps too, just in case...

I got them the other day and they are VERY BEEFY! These things look like they are made to clamp fire hoses, not turbo pipes! I'm very happy with the quality and expected results...
