Not sure the media says one thing and GM says another, same with American axle. GM officialy closed the Lucerne and DTS factory, and they said today they did not plan on closing any other factories any time soon, for about two weeks. But that could be because they don't know yet, i heard there are outside companies making hubs to take up the slack, not sure they can afford to loose the production of the cobalt, because sales went up 59% last year and GM has already shut down 30 plants. Hopefully they will stay open!!!!

How do i check gm's stock?

Nevermind, just called dealerships around here and found exactly what I was gonna get, so I'll get mine when ever they get to him.

the 08 ss/tc will be available to the market on april 7th and i advise you not to buy the first set that go out because we all know gm always have a promblem so wait a few after it come out and let the people who took chances buying the car let them tell how good the car is

lol I know its weird right? Ok I can show I make plenty of money, but its my lack of credit (not bad credit, no credit). Well there is a small town privately owned bank and I know the VP/Branch Manger/Loan officer there and she basiclly told me to go and get the car. I tried gettin' financed through the dealership and they wanted me to use Capital One, its weird I know, but it works. Also at the time I got the LT, I had no money down

Ahhh, ok that makes sense. GMAC is pretty lame when it comes to financing/leasing through them... They are quite picky. I have very good credit and it was a challenge convincing them to approve me.

Private instituations (banks) are usually a better choice, but you might not always get as good of a rate unless you know someone. (in my experience anyway)

Yeap know her, when I was orignally "approved" my payment was 300 a month for 72 months on 12k (just trying to build my credit), but my fiancee has 07 LT with all the options and she finacned 18k for 60 months through the same banker lady that I'm going to go through now and she only pays 330 a month, hints why I'm going to go through her now, with my down payment I'm going to finance 16,500 on my 08 SS/TC

^^^Tell me about it, they like to say "Your approved" then two weeks later say "Oh, well, you need more proof of income (like all my pay stubs for a year wasn't good enough) and you'll need a cosigner

thats the delivery date i was given as well. as for options i ordered less options on this car than i did on my 07 ss i bought last year. sunroof is still a must but the leather seats didnt hold up to everyday in & out, and the 6 disc changer was a waste since my ipod and sirius satellite radio was all i ever used for music.
