Reason of MS6 over MS3 is I like the looks of the sedan over the 5 door hatch and AWD (even though FWD based) > FWD for me. Although each car looks great.

good point, but the MS6 looks too much like the mz6 that it is based on..... the MS3 at least looks more different from the mz3...... to a point, at least

Wow, someone is bitter in this thread. One question (and I never understood some of GM's moves) is why does the HHR SS get the SS emblem in the steering wheel, and the Cobalt gets the bowtie?

it is to make sure that people do not remember that they are driving something from GM, and to make them think it is more special????

You little POS. The fact that your still under you parents thumb negates any opinion you have.

Furthermore, I have more automotive knowledge in my pinky finger than you will ever culminate in your entire lifetime!

Yeah seriously, if you "hate" GM so much whey do you bother posting in here? Seems pretty stupid to me being that no one really values your opinion and tells you to go away. If I were you I'd be getting sick of that and just leave.

First off Congrats on the new 08 SS/TC... I'm looking into maybe getting an 09 SS/TC when my lease ends next summer...

I like the MS6, MS3, and RX8 (if it's got a turbo). Mazda and Nissan are pretty much the only Japanese companies I'd look into getting a car from. But because I don't like sedans, and hatches, for me I wouldn't get a MS6, or MS3, but they are fast cars and not to joke around with... Unless you got the SS/TC... or highly modded SS/SC...

For the price the Cobalt is a good car, while I haven't been 100% satisfied with my SS/SC, it's had a couple small interior quality issues, but not engine or tranny problems (knock on wood)... The only car I'd look into for the price besides a Cobalt SS would be a Solstice GXP or a used 350Z...

But you will be happy with your new SS/TC

I didn't want the wing... At first I thought it had it, but when I saw it and it didn't, I liked the car that much more... Just not a fan of the big wing, I almost bought a Srt-4 when they came out(just not a Dodge guy so I didn't pull the trigger) and it would have been the 1st thing to go...

of course when GM dropped the turbo Cobalt, I had to get one

Nice, I like this color a lot. I think it actually looks much better then the victory red or black.

You can't say silver chips easily, that is a bullshit blanket statement. The color doesn't matter, it's the type of paint, how well it was applied, etc...

Good lord...

I'm sure if I had problems with everything on my Balt, I'd be in the same boat that you are in... So for that I don't blame your position due to your experience with your Cobalt.

I had a crank sensor go out @6k miles, shift cap snap off, clothes hanger break, sun roof rail break, a hole in my carpet and satin trim on my doors are starting to peel... and I think that's it. The SS/SC is only an 06... Oh and both of my batteries just died on both my key fobs, but that I don't blame GM for...

So I'm a little hesitant on getting the 09 SS/TC, but the engine and trans have been solid, and over-all it's been a very reliable car... That and I got it brand new for 19k so I can't really complain too much.

Yeah, if you want a Scion, Tc's are ok if you don't want to go fast... but I know a lot of people that have Mazda 3's and are very happy with them, I also like their interiors a lot, but I like Mazdas...

But yeah, for me I'm trying to get a Solstice GXP, or a used 350Z if I can. But if either of those don't work out then I'm getting a fully loaded 09 Cobalt SS/TC...

oh and if you think Silver chips easily and shows dents, try having two black cars...
