They've been run at the factory. I'm just driving it like a normal car. Running great. Like new I'd say...

So I put fresh 91 in. Wow what a difference from 5 month old gas. The car is spot on. It runs and shifts very smoothly. I really like the GMPP clutch. Engagement is perfect. I would like the shifts to be a bit more crisp and notchy but overall it's not bad.

Getting a good waxing now. I love this color. All that's left is an alignment and then exhaust before getting dyno tuned.

Very nice. I assume the current tune is extremely conservative? How do you like the bad Mab after all?

Side note, can you list what exactly you bought for the GMPP clutch? Need one for my LNF but not exactly sure what to order.

Well we cut the bung for the o2 sensor in half. It freed up enough room so the wires weren't pinched at all anymore.

All I bought was the GMPP clutch which comes with a new TOB and a new LNF flywheel from ZZP. I did have an issue with either the dowels on the flywheel being too small, or the holes on the pressure plate being too large, one way or the other. But we just centered it and tapped in in place before snugging it all down.

I think my cat warmup was off when I bought the car because with the ZZP tune it sure as **** is on. That is some loud ass 30 seconds of idling. Can't wait to do full exhaust. Even after driving it 125 miles it still stinks like blown motor. We hit the cleanout and it was full of nasty **** so that's not gonna change. Exhaust is mandatory

I haven't hit it WOT yet. Going to wait until after the first oil change at 500 miles but I'm sure Matt put a smart conservative tune on it. Those poor guys know all about this car and are probably tired of hearing from me!

The clutch dowel holes are larger. Align the clutch and no problem

Did you buy the clutch pipe or new flywheel bolts?

Yes. Get both. Flywheel bolts are TTY. You can reuse them but I feel better knowing I have new ones.

they can be reused one time after that they stretch beyond the limit. throwout bearing should always be replaced no matter how many miles of use. i tihnk a lot of the failed throwout bearings are 90% due to installers error. very rarely do i see one thats failed because of the manufactuer.

All cleaned up! Took out the dealer plastic (probably not original but I can hope) and dressed this horribly cheap dash. Not a speck of dirt on it. Here's how it sits on SSC springs. +1 for Canada

Awesome! I realize you could have probably bought a Corvette by now, but at least she's running.

I'm going to talk to some friends at a dealership to see if I have any recourse for recovery.

I was sold a vehicle that was not setup to run on gasoline as advertised, and was not legal due to having no catalytic converter. My GM warranty has been voided and my vehicle is now worth less and would be difficult to sell due to the history. The dealership has to be accountable for at least a percentage of my loss due to their dishonesty whether intentional or not.

Meh, I think you'll end up paying more in legal fees than it's worth

I'm sure I would. I'm going to attempt to settle it out of court and I'll at the very least file a complaint with the BBB. I can't be the first guy they've shafted. I was also an uneducated buyer and now know more about this car than I ever cared to, but that doesn't mean others in the same situation I was in shouldn't be warned.

I took off the plate frames and floormats with their logo and burned them in a bonfire. Hopefully I've gotten rid of all the bad mojo permeating this car, but I should probably still see about having it blessed by the ******* pope for good measure.

Quick question for ya did you drop the cradle or pull the engine out the top? How easy was your way? I still have my bottom end and trans sitting in the car. Head and everything above is out of the car already.

Everything is loosening up nicely and she's starting to get a bit more rowdy. Did a quick WOT just from 40 to 65 and very pleased to see a drop to 11s then bouncing around in 12s. Really wanting to get some miles logged this weekend.

I'd say it was for maybe 1.5 seconds. No way did it make full boost. Still driving it like any other car. Well over 300 miles on it so far. Getting exhaust soon and then off to Michigan in a few weeks.

Whatcha coming up here for? ZZP?

Just saw you have the Fuzions on your car. Previous owner put them on mine also. Better than I thought but still suck, prepare to pucker in the rain.

Yeah I'm coming to ZZP for a tune. And the Fusions are brand new so no reason to swap them yet. I'm not driving this thing in the rain. The most corroded part of the car is the Badmab down pipe.

Ok so it happened. It was an accident sort of. This kid in a fake Evo with a retarded wing and muffler was being stupid to my right, then this other idiot in an obviously modded Kia Forte on my left starts trying to screw with me. They were both ahead of me because I wasn't biting. Im more thinking are these guys serious? And then the testosterone kicked in. Had it at 3500 in 2nd and just mashed it. AFR dropped into 11s and quickly locked at 12.7 as it rocketed forward, followed by the loudest "chuff" from the bpv I have heard so far as I let off. I passed them both under heavy braking. They wanted nothing more to do with me.

I had been pushing it a little harder each day this week and am at 500 miles as of tonight. First oil change tomorrow and switching to Mobil 1. Running stronger every time I drive it.
