question about trifecta

alright well my question is how good is vince? like is it a good idea to buy trifecta and let him make a tune from where ever he is?
the parts i wanna put on and tune are CPS,IC,DP,SRI,fordge bpv, and meth
so how exactly does it work? do i data log and then he makes a tune? how reliable is he for this? my car is a DD and i dont want it to run like a bag of ****.....

vince is good, i have him tune my **** in person because i live close to him, he tunes it on the dyno for me, the way it works is he sends you a base tune, u put it on your car, data log it and send it back, he makes adjustments and back and forth untill he thinks its legit, but vince tunes conservative compared to the HPT guys like term 2 and BYT so dont expect as much out of your trifecta tune as u see the HPT guys running, vince doesnt tune hard core because he doesnt want people blowing there stuff up with his name on it, not saying the HPT guys do that but there a little more aggressive than vince, personally i think vince is good i have had him for almost 2 years now

but im rready to step up the the HPT level, honestly though its all personal prefference, sorry for the rant i just got back from the gym hearts still racing lol

Vince is rather good, but he is also conservative. If you want a nice increase without blowing anything up, he is a good tuner to use.

I also like the switchable tune. Makes it nice because you just have the extra power on demand.

Vince is great what he does, but hes has his flaws, Him being the only guy writing the tunes, can leave you hanging at times and it make take a few emails for a response/revision.

I can only speak from my experience. But i had him tune my car, and after like 4 updates and getting no where with him. I found a local HP tuner who Fixed Vince tune. and solved my Issues, and fixed somethings i would had never seen without a data logger. I basically ended up wasting my money. I would say HP tune for sure.

I went through this too actually and I dont want to talk down on his tune by any means, if it wasnt for him I would of never been able to supercharge the car, but unfortunately I went through datalogg after datalogg, saying hey Vince the car is running rich let me know what you see in the log...long story short I couldnt get a response from him after 2 weeks of waiting, I switched to a local talented hp tuner, and with having all the data there in front of us, turned out the upstream o2 was bad where Vinces response to the log was "check your wideband gauge" So **** happens but I prefer Hp now, its nice to have the tuner there and say ok this is what we can do for this that and the other, which is great if you dont understand tuning. I just feel you can get a better tune with the tuner in your car then miles away, which it all depends on the tuner of cousre.

Dealer is cheaper. Vince still does the tuning.

Tru answer is if u have reputable.tuner u trust with hptuners go that route and if u want peoples opinions ask his customers. Trifecta is a good reserve. . Meaning if u have no tner near u or ect.

How does the whole thing work? I need a lap top to data log with trifecta?
With hpt is that on a lap top? I'm thinking about getting a tune soon yet I'm indifferent on what tune I will get. I know hpt can be tuned thru email just like trifecta . If you get trifecta and want to keep cable isn't price almost same as hpt suite. If you want selectable tune or launch control you need trifecta ?
