Question for those with RPD

So I would answer this question for myself, but my car isnt here....


but can you switch the RPD speed screen to be in KPH?? If so Im gonna be so happy!!!!

not that i know of. that goes off of the ecm.

maybe a dealer could flash your ecm in canada. lol

I believe there is a section in the Manual about doing it...I think I read over it when I was trying to solve the problem I had haha

If you change it to metric it might switch the rpd too. I don't see why it wouldn't if its changing from psi to kpa as well.

Yeah, switches everything to metric. Press info and reset buttons at the same time. Units should come up first. Hold reset for a second and cycle from English to Metric.

DIC and RPD in metric or imperial - for everything.

I think you can switch while driving

I can confirm from past experience that converting between English and Metric on the DIC switches the RPD back and forth between MPH and KPH as well.

*Unless you installed the RPD after the fact on a 2008 SS/TC, in which case it will default to metric and stay on metric regardless of DIC setting.

If you mean me, I meant that when the car is moving the only setup thing you can change is the units. When parked you can use setup to change things like if the horn beeps when you press the lock button, reset oil life, etc.

just did it and it changed everything to metric... just wanted the speed to changed but oh well.


once I get my duel interceptors Ill be set, might also get duel cluster gauge pods.
