hey guys just wondering if the MPx shorty Antenna will fit over the stock threads for the stock antenna??

Why yes, yes it will. Just be careful removing the old one. It's easy to break the pinch welds on it and make the thing just spin free on the base. Then good luck getting it off. That's why my stocker is still on.

I just cut my stocker while it was still on my car to my desired height then put a vacuum cap on the end. No signal loss. And It costs a dollar for the vacuum cap vs 20 for a whole shorty.

 

but it still looks like a cut off antenna lol

 

It looks just like it does stock except shorter and cheaper.

 

I just took off my stocker antenna and put a vacuum cap onto the threads...looks like a real "shorty" antenna lol.
