r1 concepts front rotors and pads

going to buying some slotted front rotors from r1 concepts this weekend (already bought and installed the rears with hawk hps pads) but i was wondering with only 11k miles on my car if im better off just sticking with the used front pads on the new rotors.

only wondering this because my plan was to just buy new oem pads, not anything aftermarket, to go with the new rotors, but the front rotors have been nice to the pads and vice versa, so should i just stick with the old front pads on the new front rotors?

i know its all preference related, but just wanted to see what you guys would do. new oem pads cost like $140, so id like to avoid that cost for now if possible considering the front rotors from r1 concepts cost $335.

never a good idea to keep the same pads when you're changing rotors like that. I would wait until you could do it all.

yeah... oem pads for the brembos are pricey, but i guess you gotta go with what your given. cant complain about the car coming with stock front brembos.

Yeah you really should change your pads when you change your rotors
