reviews on RPD + 2 pillar?

Sorry, but this is another RPD thread.

I was wondering if there are any people here who have purchased the RPD + 2 pillar (no disrespects to the member here who seemed to get the shaft over this);
I have heard by word of mouth that it looks cheap - but I know you can't always take word of mouth...

Can anyone chime in with a first hand account of seeing this part in person ~ and maybe any tidbits about installation versus stock, or installed appearance versus stock??

Nobody will ever be able to make a better one, period!
it looks to me like it's got a wavy almost not 100% finished appearance to it... and there are zero reviews.

Thanks for your help!

that might be, but in that picture it seems pretty clear to me that theres a defined transition line from the stock rpd pillar to where the aftermarket part was added... then there's what appear to be bumps... ??

cheap looking........I will not be buying one for three reasons

1. it looks cheap
2. the pods look terrible and not smooth like the pod for the factory boost gauge
3. I only need 1 Pod not 2

I will be sending my RPD pillar AND my old factory boost gauge pillar to whyyoumadson to get "QUALITY" product made and not some crappy mass produced pillar.

Im more than willing to pay double for a pil.ar that will be exactly what I want!

just my two cents,

No flaws, oem as fawk! guages fit tight. Longest part of the install was wiggling the aeroforce wires to the obd2 plug. 10min tops.

next project is my black cat custom overlay and led kit.

taking this on a small tangent;
Has anyone done a hard install of the Aeroforce gauges?

as in leaving the regular on board diagnostic port open??

not sure if that be a good idea, i remember people saying it messes with onstar and the diagnostic feature it has, ie. you have to unplug the areoforce to get the onstar to tell you whats up. but if you dont use the star, i guess it would be not a problem

Here's a couple I took. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my cars, and for my $80 I'm satisfied in how the pod turned out. If you want it,I can take a day pic too.
