RPD question

After reading a number of threads and not finding the answer I'm lookign for....I want to know if there is a way to change the kpa to psi on the RPD specifically the boost guage, and HOW TO DO IT!! I just picked up my 2010 this weekend and can't figure out why they would even use kpa in the first place.

Hmmm. Mine reads PSI, but it's in the US... So I don't know.

No idea.
But I find it strange that when adjusting color of screen, it shows boost is kPa.
There has to be some way. I'll look into it

Sorry to break it to you but your can't.... everything imperial or everything metric...

Just figure out the kpa.... it's not that hard plus it's much more accurate :P

Only way to do it is to switch everything to imperial units, sort of annoying as then your odo, temp, fuel economy and everything else is in imperial units to. I usually just do it every once in a while to see how much I'm boosting.

yup, wish it had vacuum. That way I can tell if it's a healthy turbo or not.

change it thru the DIC ... it only takes like 2 seconds to do .. i just leave mine on Imperial because i would rather see the boots in PSI then the mileage in KMS

Hold down the arrow button and the one above it. Press the button above the arrow to switch screens and the arrow to change up that setting

easy;
simultaneously press the info + enter buttons on your steering wheel;
your DIC should show: "reset oil?"
press "info" to scroll through your DIC options till you see one that reads something like "units" - then press enter to change your units from "metric" to "imperial" ~ your mileage will now be displayed in miles - temp will be in Fahrenheit, and pressure will be psi...

as mentioned earlier it's an all or none type thing ~ I actually always have my car in Imperial ~ and generally only change it to metric if I'm bringing the car into the dealer...

also - here's a link you might like (save the link, and save a copy of the pdf to your computer);

http://www.chevrolet.com/assets/pdf/...alt_owners.pdf

p.s. page 3-52(176) & 3-53(177)

It's US. Not imperial readout.

oh jeeze - you're going to correct me on this?
in that case I looked it up - and it's actually "english" ~ not "US"... see link above ~ scroll to page #177(3-53)

Imperial is actually what it's called...

English and metric, switch all the time between the two. Mucho entertaining =)

^^ when driving those are the only changes you can do ~ after once accidentally resetting the oil life, that's now when I generally do the change
