Mine does not seem to have a shift light? 09 SS...Anybody?

thats only the 2.2s i believe. not quite sure. my '06 2.2 has one. my '06 ssc does not

no they dont have them. I havent seen a singal cobalt with a shift light. if im wrong sorry. but if your driving a stick then you should know when to shift or at least be able to feel when you need to shift.

the older 2.4's (i belive the 06 ones) had a "fuel cut off light" which indicated when your were about to hit redline.

07's + (atleast mine and other 07 owners) didnt have it

the 07 ss/sc has it but it only comes on once you cross 7500 rpm.

my 07 2.2 has a shift light..but its only for fuel conservative driving. it doesnt appear as i approach redline at wot
