Shoty Antenna with Best reception

Looking for info on the best shorty antenna with the best reception.
Read through all the post here and most seem old.
Just wondering if there is anything new that works good and looks good.

I only know of two, the MPx and the ARK. I don't think reception between the two is much different.

I'm still rockin the stock one though.

There's a z06 one too for Corvettes.

The ARK one seems to have bad reception from what I read, and MPx sounds almost the same.

I have a new wing on my car, but the antenna gets in the way.
I've had to get rid of the antenna for the time being, but would like to replace it with one.

I've said this for years.

Don't waste money a 25$ antenna just cut your stock one.
Cut, file and sand till smooth, rattle can paint and presto stock looking shorty antenna with excellent reception. That's how I did mine and there was no drop in quality of reception. Plus it didn't cost me a thing since I own a hack saw, had some sand paper and metal file and a can of paint.

My Ark shorty works perfectly fine (bought it used for $15 shipped). Recently, I thought that it was losing reception because a certain station I am addicted to (92.3 The Fan...sports radio 24/7 ) kept getting scratchy in certain areas. But, I took my GF's new Cruze to work the other day and it was scratchy in the same spots so it must just be the station's week signal.

I just ended up relocating the antenna to the inside of the car. Put it behind the back seat to the areal sticks up from behind the seat, along side the headrest.
Then just put a short fat built where the areal was, and put black cilicone around it to seal it and secure it in place. Then just put a valve stem cap on top and stuck it there with some more black silicone and touched it up with some touch up paint.
