went out on black friday. finally get home tired. happen to look at my car and noticed someone keyed it alll the way around and on my hood.. im so mad. its ridiculous god help them if i ever find out who it was.. anyways soo anybody have any idea how much it would be u think to get the whole car repainted?? im jus curious cause i could jus go do a whole different random ass color..

That sucks. Not much you can do about it besides making a claim with insurance.

 

X2 ^^^ Insurance. That's why you have it (Or you should...) But that really sucks man. I would KILL somebody if they keyed my car. BUt I suggest you buy an expensive alarm with a Field Disturbance Sensor (2-Way Viper Alarm is what I recommend).

Depends on the paint color... if it is black then it will be cheaper. I recommend only painting the hood. A decent paint job starts at $3K and that does not include inside the doors or a quality clear coat (which is essential for long term upkeep)... Just had mine done and I won't even post what the final bill was... it would make anyone cry....

 

Aww man that sucks! Painting thw whole car is expensive, especially if ur changing the color. If u keep the same color is usually cheaper since u just paint the ouside, not under the hood, inside trunk and stuff. U could always just grab some paint and paint it urself? Or some touch up paint? Depending on how deep it is

Silver is the most boring color for a car in my opinion. I usually hate silver cars.

Silver cars are great if you're lazy like me. You can not wash them for a long time and they just change to a different shade of silver.

My favorite mod is the flame thrower defense kit that was available in South Africa to protect against car jackers? It fries the jacker medium rare right at your window...talk about entertainment...

 

Yeah, the flame thrower alarm is definitely cool. I would have it if it wasn't illegal.

 

I laugh at people who go to save a few bucks. Not worth it and this story proves it.
