Spark plugs

what the best plug to run in an LNF? I head mixed reviews on different fourms. Was told to stay away from all but best to use the copper plugs. I just wanted to get some of your opinions

Simple..STOCK PLUGS. AC delco, which are NGK plugs.

AC Delco Iridiums. Thats what came stock and thats the best plug for a stock car.

Copper plugs are worthless. A turbocharged car will chew through a set of coppers in as little as a few thousand miles.

Stock. For some reason the LNF doesnt like colder plugs much. I went a step colder and they came out black as **** after 4k miles. I change my plugs out every other oil change. A good investment and the stockers arent that expensive either

the direct injection seems to like hotter plugs so stock seems to work untill you get pretty crazy like when you actually NEED E85 and then i'd still think stock plugs are okay for a big due to the cooling of the E85...

Stock are NGK 5476

1 step colder same style are NGK 3787's.

It is better to err on the cold side as long as they do not foul out. I've been running the 3787's on mine for about a year at .031" gap.

Thanks!

How often are you changing the 3787's?

I'd have to look it up but they must have close to 15k on them now. No issues. Some LNF's like them, some don't. Since I haven't run less than 47% E on them they prob run cleaner than pumpgas, but colder also.

I blew up (literally) a #2 cyl stock HR Delco plug last winter and put the used 3787's back in.

Bart what are you running in your HHR now?

My Cylinder #1 coil pack went bad and the dealer is replacing it but I think I should go ahead and replace all the plugs at this point.

Full boltons minus an intake with GM Stage 1 and HPTuners on top of it

I think ZZP's tweaked-out LNF is still running stock plugs? I may be wrong, but if they are that certainly says something.

Boots?

Does everyone change their boots everytime they do their plugs? If so should do I have to get the stock AC Delcos?

Shouldn't be necessary unless something is wrong with them.
