Nope, never been that way...

They offer all of the following stages: 1, 2, 2+, 3, 3+, 4, & 5

We ALWAYS recommend the "+" series, as they are an awesome clutch.

What is the "best" one for the street? Could I run a 3+ without any problems in a daily driver? What kind of power are they rated at?

think of it this way.........if u end up going with just a 2 and u put a tune on the ss/tc you'll probably want the 3+ a few months after

Yes you can run a 3+ on the street, daily driver, and have NO problems. They are very similar to stock, however they hold SO much more...

If you have 400 WHP and a SPEC Stage 3+ is should hold it just fine

400whp and 400wtq is just right around the corner for alot of people in their TC. So I take it the 3+ clutch kit should hold up to what, 500whp or 500wtq, somewhere in there? Not saying that is what kind of power I'm gonna have, just saying I know alot of people are gonna be building the **** out of their SS/TC.

Please post the torque capacities of each clutch in the Spec line (or provide a link for those of us too lazy to search).

IF we start seeing 400WHP numbers, we will have SPEC make a twin disc setup good for 500+ HP

They would do it for us on the SS/SC but there just in not enough wanting it for that engine.

He needs a clutch soon>>>My buddies ( FF_ace ) 08' TC just dynod at 292 hp\340 tq@ the wheels, 91 octane gas: Full exhaust, DP, Intercooler upgrade, and K&N drop-in. the damn thing can't get traction till 3 rd gear with the stock street tires. He ran a 14 @ 108.88 mph consistently. All that wheelspin OR BOGGING IN FIRST GEAR equaled nothing faster then a 2.5 60' . I can't wait for the day to see his car hook. We estimate it'll run 12.6 at about 112 with good tires. Plus this was the guys first time at a track and he hardly even gets on the gas pedal....

The figures above come to about 338 hp\391 tq at the brake\crank.

Holyshit, I cant wait til I start modding after seeing with just these basic mods another SS/TC owner will be running 12's with ease.
