When you're on a page... just go up to the address, copy the address of the page you're on, and paste it here. Once you submit the post, the link will be "clickable".

Oh shut up about the damned interior already. That's the only thing reviewers can ever find wrong with it. And styling is subjective so you might as well toss out that comment as well. I notice they didn't call the MS3 "ugly with a capital "U"", a title it surely must deserve.

Must be because it's yellow. The only TC sedans I've seen pics of thus far are imp. blue, sport red, and silver and none of those are really stand out colours.

Maybe Ford North America but the Europeans have had the good stuff for quite some time and now Ford's relatively new CEO Alan Mulally is bring those cars here. The new Euro Fiesta bows for MY'10 and the next Focus arrives here for MY'11 and will be essentially the same car sold on both sides of the Atlantic again just like it was in '99/00. If their new, near 300hp '09 Focus RS was brought over ahead of the redesign I'd have more than likely purchased one of those over the new SS. I think it will be the next car to push the limits of FWD. Hard.

Over the last few years I've also owned two SVT Focus and really enjoyed them as a near perfect all-around car, just down slightly on power compared to newer offerings (the new SS reminds me a lot of the SVT in suspension tuning and handling and that's a very good thing). Ford can and does build great small cars and we should finally be getting them over the next couple years.

Nice find..I wanted to get the sedan, but wont the weight of of the extra doors and over all car hinder power output compared to the coupe?... My dealer said about a 20-30hp drop due to the weight of the car?! I think he just wanted to sell his inventory. My point being, I didnt wana dump money into the sedan to get back up to speed with the 2 door. Love the look of a sedan over the coupe though.

The 4 door isn't that much heavier than the coupe, in both the other trims (LS & LT) the sedan is only 50 lbs heavier.

LS: 2780 vs 2730
LT: 2793 vs. 2742

The typical ricer formula is 100 lbs = 10 hp, so by that math if the sedan is 50 lbs heavier it will be down the equivalent of 5 hp.

I can't believe GM sent R&T an SS/TC sans the Limited Slip Differential!

Yeah...it sounds like they only had three complaints...it is ugly on the outside (which could be partially solved if they had sent a coupe), it could have performed better with LSD (stupid move by GM), and the interior is cheap (if they wanted it priced with the others, they could have made it much better...there is something to be said for the Cobalt destroying the competition for a few grand less...even if you have plastic on the interior)...

Overall, I think the performance will make people think twice about the infamous WRX and Lancer...
