i would like to know how many of you owned an ss/sc before your ss/tc? and also the differences between them...i would only like responses from those who had an ss/sc and now have an ss/tc...

I have a S/C but my friend let me drive his T/C last weekend....Overall handling is better, clutch feels different, and the no lift shift is awesome...

 

Handling is way much more fun and better

Driving feel is very good

The power band is better (according to my butt) and all long the RPM
The exaust sound is better

The seats are also improved.

For the rest, it is still an SS

 

That about sums it up right there. For those wondering, there is still plenty of power down as low as 1500 rpm, but it's not instant like on the ss/sc. But if you're cruising in traffic at 45 or so, you don't have to downshift to accelerate.

Exhaust note is definitely meaner than a stock ss/sc, but that's one of the first things people change on the ss/sc, so it doesn't matter much there.

 

45mph in 5th gear and I didn't have to downshift to pass...

In the Civic Si, I would've needed to downshift from 4th to 3rd...

 

I owned an SS/SC before this one...and to be honest the new t/c owns it in all ways....better turning radius which is awesome I love that haha...the ss/sc had a shitty one for sure..better handeling, and the power is not instant but with no lift shift it helps out a bunch...plus I feel for town driving it will save on gas, makes first gear more useful too.

 

i owned a honda before and now the ss/tc and the turning radius isnt quite as good. better power and braking though. handling is damn near close because i had a quiafe and lots of mods on the si. i wonder what is in store for the handling on the ss/tc. ive seen the sportline swap already installed.
