SS/TC SEDAN owners

Would it be ok if I could borrow someone's VIN#?? My reason is because every time I go to the dealer to try to order a part from it they tell me the same story give me another car's vin # or I can't do anything. So with that being said, can I use someone's vin # to order some parts for my balt?

Why can't you order parts based upon your VIN#?

They order them based on Part #'s anyhow. Try calling Latoff Chevrolet (aka GMPartsDirect)

I don't know that's just what they tell me. GM parts direct seems way too over priced. They want $176 for shipping on a $91 hood blanket. They're crazy....

not really. shipping a hood blanket requires a oversize charge. that usually runs 90-100 bucks. they have to make some money also.

I know the coupe and sedan from 07 on down have different A-pillars. Are you sure they arent using the same A-pillars for 08+ in the sedan and coupe?

coupes and sedan pillars have diff lengths. Since the ss/tc sedan has a gauge pillar... well that's FTW lol cause believe me i tried and researched the only way is either the ss/tc sedan pillar currently or custom mold it

So I guess the steering wheel gauge pod is out of the question.

Go on eBay.com or Autotrader.com or even Cars.com search for the car you want ie: 09 4dr SS Turbo or whatever you wish.. if any of those cars pull up, you will see a VIN number listed in the auction / listing. Just give that to your dealer and it will make your life easier
