Anyone seen the shift light on their SS/TC come on? I can tell that there is a spot for it on the dash, but not sure if it is just there because it is functional on other models or if it is supposed to work.

I really don't care...just wondering if it is functional or not on the SS/TC...

 

I thought this was an 09 feature in the RPD?

If you look at the spot opposite your fog light indicator on the dash (kinda hard to tell...helps to look at it in the sunlight), there is a spot for a shift light that is discussed in the manual.

I'm thinking this must only be functional in other models and is just "on the dash" for manufacturing purposes.

I'm not stupid...I know the difference...

 

it's on 2.2s and 2.4s

2.2 it comes on when you should shift for best MPG and the "shift now if you want an engine left" point

2.4 only has the redline shift light.

2.0 has neither.

agreed. this has been discussed a couple times

The guage clusters are interchangable so they all have the same lights.
The ECUs just act different between models
