??SS/TC vs CSRT4??
??SS/TC vs CSRT4??
ok so a buddy of mine has an srt4 and he texts me earlier wanting to know if i'd run his friend who has a caliber srt4. He says his buddy is all stock and so am I. He wants to do a 40 roll on the highway. We're both good drivers. The question is who would win? He wants to put $100 on it but i told him as of right now i'll do it just for fun. What do u guys think?

Get the Trifecta switchable tune and kill him and then if he thinks you are hiding something go to stock tune
It'll be close...I mean I've seen some bolt on stage 2 SCs beat them...but not by much at all (half a fender ish)...it'll be close. There's a guy that runs pretty consistent low 14s high 13s at the track by me...trapping usually around 102... So it'll be close.
I agree those 93 se-r's are pretty sick sr20de awesome motor.....to answer the question it will be close stock vs stock after modding the tc you should walk him....dont do it for 100 dollars either because you never know wait untill you mod yours first the bet!
yeah i'm not gonna put any money on it cuz for all i know he has a tune and it may just look stock. I highly doubt he's stock seeing he's had that for a while, but then again he puts basically all his money into a nissan 300ZX he twin turboed. Did the CSRT4s come w/ a blow off valve cuz i know he has one.

If he has a tune you will lose and there is really no way to verify whether he does or doesn't by looking at his car. So don't go for cash. If he knows about cars then he knows stock for stock with the same driver skill the cobalt is faster and if he is still willing to bet money on top of that he is proly tuned.
Why do u think I got rid of my cobalt?
O SNAP!

If you race from 100+, it would be a good race ( no boost limit in 4th, and 4th is a solid gear for them ). But from 40+, you will get him. 4th gear is where they shine most, which is why theyre a good highway car.
. Mopar is junk. I hope all those mopar engineer assclowns lose their ******* jobs for being such dousche bags.

Roll racing for money is dumb. Period. Cuz someone's always gonna be bitching that you didn't honk right, or that you jumped, or wah, blah, wah.
But, it can be useful for good fun, as long as its kept to safe areas.

Ok well we raced the other night right after I got outta work. Like mkriebs said, the first run it seemed like he didn't even take off...that's cuz he said he "didn't hear the last honk" so we ran again and I beat him by at least a car and a half. He was cool about it, he didn't try and make any excuses he just said good race and that i got him and that my car is fast. All in all, not a bad night lol. Wish i put the $100 on it like he wanted to but oh well. Like they say, hindsight's 20/20.
