SS Vs DEER=FAIL!!

Yup, just happened about an hour ago. Was heading to school on a road i've driven on countless times and never seen a deer on it until today, it wanted to say hi to me... I just picked up the car just barely over a month ago and has less than 5k miles on it.. Well here are some pics..

I also just got Trifecta infiniboost on it and was actually going to install my Injen charge pipe at school today, oh wellz!

I know just sucks, this is my first new car! I've been driving for 4 years and haven't had any accidents of any kind and out of all things a deer hits me!

It could have been a lot worse if it were head on! Sorry to hear your misfortune, but insurance will take care of you!

Yea i'm lucky it wasn't head on and I still had enough time to attempt to swerve to the right so the impact wasn't too bad. Onstar didn't even call and no airbag deployment

But it definitely obliterated my side mirror

this is nothing... my trans am got to battle with a deer at about 45 mph, the trans am won, but that damn thing left a hoof print in/through my driver's side door while he did a 720 down the side of my car...

much worse than this, didn't total it though(almost did)

that is the bad thing about living in Alabama, and is why I prefer to battle them with this:

Browning Bar .270 with a Leupold scope

lol.. Well I was very lucky actually, cause I was going 55-60mph so if I would've hit it head on that would of definitely fucked up my car and I wasn't speeding, posted speed limit is 55

I know a guy that can buff that our for you.....

Seriously, I know it sucks and all, but insurance will take care of that. A friend of mine hit a deer, well, what was left of one; he was driving on a 4-lane road and a deer came out and got clipped by the van in the outside lane, which spun the deer around and clobbered my friend's Nissan. Over $6000 in damage and this was back in the early 90's.

His response after that..."anyone who cries about deer culls never hit one on the highway."

I was driving home from work this morning, around 1am, and a deer runs full stride about 50 feet in front of me on a local road heading home, going 50 MPH, crazy! I was on the brakes immediately and had a mini-heart attack, oh boy, got the adrenaline pumping.

Sorry to hear man, on the bright side, you're not injured (?) and the damage can be fixed. This 09 Turbo coupe is my first car too so I can appreciate what you're feeling. Sucks when bad things happen to your first big purchase in life Hang in there :P

seriously though, this could have been so bad, you could have had the thing come over your hood, thru the windshield, killing, your car, you and the deer.

Thanks man, fortunately I was not injured. Would've been bad news if it had gone through the windshield I just hope my insurance company can handle this quickly..
