I have a 09 cobalt ss and I am having a decent amount of shaking coming from my steering wheel when I braking over 60mph. I had this issue about 6 months ago as well and I had my front rotors resurfaced and the pads replaced. After that was done the shaking stopped until recently. My front rotors don't have any noticable grooves in them, however one of the rears do.

So my question is what is most likely causing the problem, the fact that my rotors were resurfaced Instead of replaced or the grooves in the rear.

Rotors are warped..buy new rotors and pads.

 

this. if your rotors are warped and need to be replaced,miswell replace the pads too while your at it.

 

The pictures don't seem to be loading correctly but your talking about the front rotors and pads correct?

 

Steering wheel shake normally means front rotors...rumbling ithe ass means rears.
