How are you liking it? I've always debated whether or not I'd want to own a convertible.

 

It can barely fit a gym bag ^ but everyone stares at you.

 

launches like a bat out of hell and no torque steer. However is super slow on a highway downshift when compared to the cobalt.

 

they dont look good imo but i'm sure are lighter than cobalts..

 

Cobalts are lighter.

 

Im pretty sure the sky is like 50lbs lighter than a cobalt. Either way tho, they are pretty close in weight.

I am also looking to get into a Sky Redline! Havent found very many around me that I like price/mileage wise...

Yes they are not as fast in mid range ... mom had a GXP.. launch is nutty as faccckk!! but I recently beat one when I wasnt tuned from a 30 roll.. he pulled until I NLS and I mashed 3rd and was outtyy!!

I know the Cobalt is a girl-car, but the Sky/Solstices REALLY look like girl-cars.

I may get a sky and a big boy turbo after the halts payed off. I figure having 2 LNF's will be good if one breaks or I wanna swap parts. Lol

not a fan of those at all. but, congrats on the new car!

 

Automatic transmission

 

^ actually it's a 5 speed manual. It's slow because it's GMS1 instead of a real tune.

 

Engine bay is already complete, aftermarket intercooler, CAI, charge pipes - to blow off valve, downpipe and exhaust are stock as far as i can tell. My plan is to get a catless downpipe /exhaust and get it HP tuned asap (as i'm worried about the blow off valve).
